What is Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping?
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, called Tapping) is a universal healing tool that can provide impressive results for physical, emotional and performance issues. It is the psychological acupressure technique, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years.
The user stimulates certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with his fingertips. This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing first negative and then positive affirmations, works to clear the "short-circuit" - the emotional block - from our body's bioenergy system.It is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head, chest and fingertips while you think about your specific problem (emotion, pain, a traumatic event, an addiction, etc.).

What is the practice based on?
Emotional Freedom Technique is a from of Energy Psychology that has its roots in methods that are at least 4500 years old, with the discovery of energy or qi meridians. Thousands of clinical studies attest to its effectiveness. There are success stories in everything from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) to anxiety to phobias to cancer.
What is the process followed?
EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, it is non-invasive. It is easy to learn, effective and very useful tool for selfhelp.
While tapping on the specific points on your head and chest, you give voice, first to the problem, and then to your desired outcome.
The combination of stimulating the energy meridians and voicing the thoughts – while feeling the emotions – works to clear what was previously a stuck energetic pattern.
Where you previously could see and feel only one way about a situation or past event…
…the process of moving the energy while activating thoughts and emotions about it, clears the emotional block that was previously keeping you stuck in a dysfunctional state.

How did you get started with it?
Living abroad with my husband, who was absent for several months due to his work, and I had to take care of our three children by myself for a long period of time, it was not easy at all, so when I was looking for emotional support, I learned about the EFT technique, which helped me overcome everyday challenges both in my family and in my career.

My name is Marjana Fras, I am EFT practitioner, Reiki therapist, reflexologist, teacher, translator, mother of three beautiful daughters and grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter. I express my mission within the framework of the M-Feniks Association. I am an electrical engineer by education, but somehow I did not find myself in this profession. I have always been interested in human relationships, dynamics between people and personal growth.
Shortly after finishing my studies, I married a Greek man and lived in Greece for 28 years, where I continued my education in foreign languages and taught German at private schools. Living abroad with my husband, who was absent for several months due to his work, and I had to take care of three children by myself for a lot of time, was not easy at all, so when I was looking for emotional support, I learned about the EFT technique (Emotional Freedom Technique), which helped me overcome everyday challenges both in my family and in my career.
With the help of the EFT method, I found the courage and motivation to make the changes I needed to live a fuller and more fulfilling life.
Since our body has the ability to heal itself, I wanted to learn how we can help ourselves when we don't feel well. In search of new answers and solutions for better well-being and a balanced life, I trained in various natural techniques of help and self-help.
